It looks as though the Borg had somehow gained access to the Romulan intelligence through the Tal'Shiar either by assimilating one of their ships or crew. Sorry Captain I wished things were different but the Hellstorm took a massive amount of damage to her primary hull If we were to ship you out now you will be sure as good as dead. Half of the Hellstorms special abilities took a beating and since we are no where near perfect on the ablative hull armor being out there in that condition would be suicide....Look Captain I know the Phoenix is a sovereign class with just a few of the abilities that the Hellstorm has but treat her right and she will get you and your crew through this

Estimation on repair outside Utopia Planetia is 5 weeks. Impulse engines are nearly non existent and we have sustains a complete fused coils on our port naccel. Warp drive is offline for the time being due to a shot warp coil Cheif Braxon estimates repair with the materials on hand 3 days tops. Foward sheilds have sustains full damage and the shield generator is damaged which will take 2 hours to complete Holograpphic projection is still online however but our weapons sytems are nearly destroyed
We have secondary Phaser arrays at minimal power and aft torpedo tubes. Sensor are undergoing extensive repair and our transiever array is also another hour away from being operational

we have sustained severe hull breaches over 60% of the ship and all decks report that the hull fires have been put out
Warp drive is offline and impulse is out of the question at the momment We have a issue with the structral integrity feild and keeping power to it to sustain it but with power rerouted to containment of the warp core its a 50/50 chance
Deflector array is offline and not sure how long we will be able to get it up and running which means our battered hull is in for more damage by space debri
Sheilds and weapons are offline and we have exhausted our supply on Transphasics on the last cube

As i review the logs form the runabout I get the feeling how fast the Fleet and DS9 was destroy the fact of the matter is the fleet didn't even hurt the shields on the Borg ship and the weapons that the Borg used where unknown

Gamma fleet dropped out of warp at Starbase 12, as the Thunderchild released Hellstorm under her own power. Sierra fleet of 150 ships stood by near Starbase 12 as the Gamma fleet moved in closer along with the Hellstorm a total of 250 ships moved into battle formation. Kenneth leaned back in his chair as he starred out into the viewscreen of the armada that was soon to meet fate Captain a message coming in from Starfleet Command its Admiral Janeway on screen" informed Mr. Kevin.
The screen flickered and revealed Admiral Janeway with a stern look in her eyes. "We have just received word from our nearest surveillance outpost near the border of Jupiter station. The Borg are closing in on our position I have ordered all ships to engage the Borg when the cube is sighted We need to hold them off as long as we can. Captain its imperative that we do not let the Borg get close to Earth, I have sent out an emergency distress call to all surviving allies I hope they respond soon even though there may not be anyone left. The Borg cube moved in as Gamma and Sierra fleet moved to engage. The firepower from both fleets combined did little damage as the cube moved in closer towards Earth, IKV Kronos swooped under two Excelsior class variants and released a barrage of disruptor fire upon the cube as two K'vort class bird of preys covered the Negh'Var with fly by's in an attempt to distract the Borg sensors. The Cube continued its course toward Earth with the fleet hot on its tail like a giant bull being irritated by nats.
The cube slowed in speed but continued on. USS Sutherland joined IKV Kronos in its desperate attempt to get the attention of the Cube away from Earth as she released several rounds of quantum torpedoes at the giant vessel in a single spot. This in turn halted the Cube for several seconds which then responded by capturing the Sutherland in its tractor beam followed by a short burst of its cutting beam slicing through the Sutherland's saucer section. Three Akira class cruisers covered the Sutherland by releasing a storm of photon torpedoes and phaser fire. The Borg responded by firing its own phasers cutting through the Akira class ships in half reducing them to debris in seconds.
"Sir, The fleet is taking a pounding!" Kevin shouted, "Kugle has sustained damage but is still in the fight So far we have lost 25 of our ships in Gamma Fleet. Admiral Johnson is requesting immediate assistance they have sustaine primary hull damage Main power is failing."

From a distance the Cube loomed over the rebellious fleet that continued in vain to fight off this incredible menace. An explosion rocked the area as a Galaxy class was suddenly engulfed in flames by a resulting Borg cutting beam as four Defiant class ships flew through the fiery amber unleashing a storm of pulse phasers and quantum torpedoes at the cube. There was a moment of realization that the weapons had actually penetrated the hull of the cube before a shock wave imitated from the cube which propelled the opposing Defiant ships weapons back at them destroying them instantly.
"Sir, Kevin started, "We have lost about 40% of our fleet. Sierra Fleet is nearly gone."

The ship rocks again as the Borg continues to fire at the Hellstorm and surrounding ships covering her. Explosions and sparks fly everywhere on the bridge as the bridge crew are thrown from their stations. Fire starts to erupt on the bridge. I pick myself up from the rocking deck as I shout "Report!!"
"We have hull breaches on decks 5-20 Shields and Armor are offline We still have impulse and weapons." Kevin informs over the rocking of the ship.

IKV Kronos flies over the Hellstorm to cover her with its disruptors firing away at the cube relentlessly. The cube alters its attack from the small ships and focuses its weapons on the mighty Negh'Var releasing a stream of torpedoes and phaser power at the Klingon ship. The Kronos rocks with severe intensity as Kugle picks himself up off the deck. "Get those weapons back now and keep firing!!!" The Kronos rightens itself and prepares to unleash another round on the cube. The Cube takes the full brunt of the attack from the Klingon ship, but then blasts its back at the Kronos with tremendous force which slices through the ships dorsal nacelle wing shearing it off which collided into the Hellstorm from below. The damage from the attack resulted in the Kronos exploding in a huge fireball spraying debris all around which also collided into the Hellstorm. The bridge rocked hard as sparks and fire started to engulf the bridge in all directions. "Sir, We have just lost the Kronos We have massive damage on our primary hull Main power is fluctuating switching to auxiliary . Massive hull breech are reported on deck 10- 30 Fire control teams have been dispatched. decks 25- 30 are exposed to vacuum."

Hellstorm, Sutherland and the remaining ships from both Sierra and Gamma fleets which revolved of Ten Norway's and Five Miranda s and Fifteen Excelsior Variants flew in as one in an attack formation towards the Borg cube. All ships began to fire in one huge blast at the Cube. Again the cube took all the opposing fleets weapons and repelled the attacks back at the surviving fleet. Sutherland taking most of the damage while such in a critical state already, was instantly destroyed which swallowed up 3 of the Norway class ships in the process. The Cube then targeted the Hellstorm and the rest of the small fleet destroying eight more ships in the process while heavily damaging Hellstorm. One Miranda class swooped over the Hellstorm to cover her from an incoming torpedo which ripped right through the saucer section of the ship and slammed into the Hellstorm regardless. The lifeless bulk of the Miranda collided into the Hellstorm knocking her of course severely damaging her saucer section in a fiery disfigured wreck.

The bridge of the ship was dark for the most part other the the flames that where burning and was full of smoke. fire teams worked to put the fire out. I looked at the commander for a second then walk over to the helm "PREPARE FOR RAMMING SPEED!!" I shouted loudly.

The Hellstorm floated lifelessly as she was surrounded by the fiery debris of the Gamma and Sierra fleets. The Borg Cube hovered above the severely crippled Hellstorm then continued on its way to Starbase 12. The viewscreen revealed the most horrible event ever to be captured of the eyes of any Starfleet captain in history. What seemed like only minutes Starbase 12 fought back with all the station had. But soon the Station too was succumbed to destruction as the viewscreen lit up in a bright firey explosion that made everyone shield their eyes. Soon all was dark again and Starbase 12 was no more. Admiral Janeway and all the officials of Starfleet were gone.. Earth was now defenseless to the seemingly unstoppable Borg

Kenneth and the rest of the bridge crew watched on as the Borg cube neared and then began firing on Earth with its assimilation beams. There was a sudden feeling of sadness as helplessness took hold, but most importantly the feeling of defeat and the heavy loss of the innocent lives the were being wiped off the planet as the Borg continued its assault on Earth.....
As the Borg cube continued to attack the planet, the screams and despair echoed into the ears of the crew. Children crying, screams of panic and destruction filled the air. The cries continued on for several minutes then died out. Naturally, the air was filled, with a deathly silence.

The crew of the Hellstorm knew there was nothing that could be done and followed their captains command to abandon ship. The heavy loss of life was more than to comprehend. There wasn't much to live for now that Earth was gone. But nonetheless the crew did as they were told. As most of the majority of the crew loaded into the escape pods and shuttles the ship had an odd feeling about it as the gravity
seemed to be lifted from the deck plating and most the vital systems were being restored, not by much but by something that was making the repairs. Suddenly there was a flash of bright blinding light that knocked every crew member on the ship unconscious

I looked out toward the viewscreen as I stood beside Kenneth and tried to make heads or tails what just happened. Although the viewscreen was a mess with half of it destroyed and the bridge opened to space with only the forcefields dividing the crew from the harsh cold vaccum. I still could make out that we were out in the middle of nowhere and earth was also nowhere to be seen nor the borg cube

The turbolift doors screeched open and in came the bridge crew their uniforms torn amd sinched from burns and tears with blood and dirt stained faces but otherwise healthy as ever. The reddish smokey surroundings gave them the appearance of a ghost crew more than anything. "Might as well be alive than that." I thought to myself. They all stood and faced me and the captain waiting for us to say something. Captain Kenneth broke the silence.

Just then the ship started to rumble from the sound of a massive engine outside of the hull and with the dampening feilds completely destroyed on the Hellstorm the sound and feeling was terrifying. I keep watching the screen to see if something shows up "Whatever it is captain its close!" I say outloud over the rumbling a few stations behind exploded in a shower fof sparks over the intense rumbling. I kept my eyes glued on the viewscreen for any sign on what might be heading toward us. I catch a glimer of light just directly ahead as I yell out "There!!" Just he momment I said the word a shimmer of light grew in intensity as a large ship phased out of subspace and slowed to a stop directly in fron tof the crippled Hellstorm. The sheer size of the ship was enormous which dwarfed the Hellstorm ten fold. I look out the viewscreen as I tried to make heads and tails of the massive ship that hovered over us "Well least I can say it isnt borg whatever it is."

"Yes sir," came the response from the other end Duncane smiled at Kenneth and the bridge crewa phased transporter dematerilized him off the bridge just as the Relativity's tractor beam grabbed ahold of Hellstorm sheilding her from the stresses of warp travel. Suddenly the ship was luanched into subspace in a blink of an eye.

One hour later Captain Kenneth woke up in a shiny room that was rather too bright as he was used to the dark rooms of the Hellstorm. He looked over to see a diagnostic biobed to his left and found Commander Darron laying beside him as well as the rest of the Hellstorms crew.

I go to get up off the biobed somewhat light headed as I reach down and grab the side of the bed to keep from falling. The room was bright as it was unbelieve in the size of it. I was certain it had to be a lest 3 times the size of the sickbay on the hellstorm. I was still some what light headed as the room keep spining so I sat back down on the bed as the Doctor come walking up with Duncane.

Duncane explained cheerfully. He looked over the room toward the remaining crew of the Hellstorm that occupied the massive sickbay

Dont worry captain its not the Starbase 12 from your timeline as that station was decommisioned and scapped in 2412 Hellstorm is currently being repaired as we speak. As we feared the damages to your ship was quite extensive if not fatal. But regardless the repairs are coming about nicely if you feel up to it I can take you to the promenade window on Deck 59 to have you see for yourself.

The cooridors were lined with the most advanced computer control panel equipment that monitored every sytem of the ship in different layouts and schematics. as the lighting seemed to appear through the walls illuminating the path for one to see where they were going The floors of the ship were marble black that reflected every particle of light as well as reflection of the crew that walked by. Duncane looked at the capatin walking besidehim as he noticed Kenneth's awed struck features he couldnt help but to laugh
"She quite impressive isnt she? The best in the fleet and the first of her kind too."

Both Captain Duncane and Kenneth turn a corner and was suddenly surrounded by a huge open window that seemed to stretch out into space itself or it seem like that to Kenneth at least as he was afraid to take another step towards it. Duncane on the other hand continued to walk toward the window as he looked behind towards Kenneth who was stopped cold by the sight of it. "Come captain, You dont want to miss seeing your ship. I assure you its alright."

I took another step cautionly towads the window as the view suddenly changed from vast stars of space to the overlaying view of a dry dock bigger than anything I had seen in my life.

The drydock which housed the Hellstorm grew in size as Relativity moved in closer to the area. Kenneth's eyes widened as he caught the sight of the old girl docked and being swarmed by what looked like worker bees to him but somehow they looked different.

I watched as a huge arm like machine which stretched over the entire width of the Hellstorm suddenly emmited some sort of energy beam directly onto the hull of the Hellstorm. The arm then began to move toward the aft part of the ship slowly sweeping over the entire area as it made its way. Thats when I noticed that the hull of the Hellstorm was being repaired as the beam crossed over the damaged areas

Duncane smiled, You got it Captain we use these drydock repair facilities when a ship of ours needs the most of repairs. Which would take weeks for a full damage reapir crew to complete the job here it only will take a matter of hours

-SaW- Defiance AD Duncan studied the tired and over worn captain as he saw him engrossed in the concept of the repair facilities and the oversize arm that slowly swept over the mangled charred wreck of the Hellstorm's hull its beam repairing the saucer as it went by. Duncan then looked out the window too and felt sorrow as the sight of Hellstorm pained him. He recovered his posture and returned his gaze back to Kenneth Payne Kenneth as his smile returned. "Captain, Im sure you are probably tired and worn out after the battle in your time. I have arranged quarters for you and your crew once they are up and about. I recommend that you get some rest the Hellstorm wont be complete for another 22 hours."

SaW-Defiance AD Duncan gestured to the exit as two security officers came in to escort the weary captain to his quarters. "I will signal you when Hellstorm is complete captain." Duncan called out as Kenneth headed toward the door along with the security detail
SaW-Rage FA As I take a step into my quarters take a look around there wasn't a mess are part of a ship laying at my feet that was a nice change. I keep look around and see the replicator I think to myself "ah a replicator that work better then the mere meals." I walk over and say computer one steak medium well. As i seat down to eat I look out and see the earth. I get up and look out the window and see the earth as she should be with out the Borg. As the last battle keep playing over and over in my mind best to try and but it out of my mind and get some sleep and take the Borg out and save the earth as I lay down to get a little rest.

-SaW-Rage FA I reach over and hit the button before the computer can go off again. I looked at the uniform that was rip to peaces after the battle and a shower sound good to me. After the shower i looked in the mirror and the clean uniform it was a nice change but it was time to get to the meeting that was happening in just a few minutes.

-SaW-Defiance AD Duncan sat at his chair as the conference doors opened and in came Kenneth in clean uniform and hearty "Ah Captain," Duncan started, "Its good to see you well rested and in good shape please sit down I have some hot coffee here for you and don't worry its fresh."
-SaW-Rage FA I laugh a little bit "Am here to tell you after eating mere meal and skipping sleeping it could be a week old and I wouldn't care" I pick the cup of coffee up and take a drank for it as I sit down.
SaW-Defiance AD Duncan watched for a second then sat straight up in his chair. He picked up a padd in front of him and handed it to Kenneth. "What you see here is the detailed damage report that has been repaired on the Hellstorm over the last 24 hours." "As you can tell its been rather long night for the repair team."
-SaW-Rage FA I look at the list of repairs to the ship "Yes I see your team has been very busy in fact, there wasn't much left of the old girl, I am very impressed with how fast the repairs have been done, but even with the repair how is the going to change the out come?"
-SaW-Defiance AD Duncan looked at the Captain seriously "As you may be well aware, The Temporal Prime Directive doesn't allow much to go on in this sort of circumstances and doesn't allow much help in it either But as far as it goes the directive doesn't really have a meaning here since we have control of time and the outcome." He paused for a minute then continued, " Captain, I don't have to say again that this is not only a matter of your time but ours as well and since the Borg you engaged in your time came from ours we also have to accept responsibility for the disaster that took place in your time. Hence that's why I'm annulling the Temporal directive as of now and have requested that starfleet upgrade the Hellstorm with upgraded weapons and defensive systems to today's standards. But I hereby order you not to share any of this technology with the Federation of your time" Duncane studied the padd and then handed it to Kenneth "These our your upgrades as of the moment"
-SaW-Rage FA I lean back in chair for second looking at the upgrades to the Hellstorm. I look over at Duncane "Very well I will make sure that the technology stay on the Hellstorm and only the Hellstorm this information and technology will not be shared."
-SaW-Defiance AD "Captain may I remind you that the phased transphasic torpedoes have a singularity effect Now that may not be any trouble with our ships But in your case I recommend extreme caution. The torpedo launchers on the Hellstorm are outdated for the sophisticated design of the torpedo and we couldnt ugrade the tubes enough to sustain it without it being noticed. "The singularity effect that is emitted from the torpedoes has a 88% chance of leaking out of the casing and if that happens then not only will the Hellstorm suffer damage but the singularity would consume any ship within 2500 kilometer radius." Now I know the chances of that are a little extreme but if you reinforce structural integrity to the forward tubes that should reduce the chances of anything going wrong. If fired correctly the Borg wont know what hit them The spatial distortion would surround the cube and cause massive damage to their systems
-SaW-Defiance AD Your shielding has been reinforced with with a power drain barrier that will automatically absorb any direct fire from the Borg cube and feed it directly to your main power systems and weapons. We also have installed a weapons inhibitor shock wave to your main defensive grid. This will allow any direct assault from Borg weapons to be held just a few meters from your shield grid as the bombardment continues the shock wave grows in intensity and then releases the weapons back at the the opponent. "This I know is what you witnessed from the cube when your fleet engaged them in your timeline. Like I said captain we have had our run ins with the Borg here too and they managed to get ahold of some of our weaponry but I think you may have an advantage here

"This are very impressive upgrades but the phased transphasic torpedoes scare the hell out of me the rest of the weapons upgrade should be able to slow the Borg cube down then destroy it. My hope is that we don't have to use the torpedoes at all, but know I understand how they where able to take a bombardment and send it back to the other ships" Even with this upgrades I can tell this fight isn't going to be easy but I don't indeed to let them walk over use this time
-SaW-Defiance AD Captain the Transphasic torpedoes of your time wont do any damage to the Cube The payload of the torpedo is not great enough to do any significant damage. Starfleet Command has ran several simulations of the Hellstorm using the torpedoes with the enhanced structural integrity feed to the fwd tubes and has calculated a 75% success rate if done properly. If you have any chance in defeating the Borg this time you must use it the torpedo would rip through the cubes defenses and hull and then release the spatial distortion at the center of the cube rendering the cube useless while massive damage is caused this will allow time for your ships to engage and defeat the cube if all goes well
-SaW-Rage FA A few second go by as I think about what was just said and I look down at the report. "Very well, I send that torpedo to the hard of that cube" As I set the pad down and fold my hands together and place my chain on top of them.
-SaW-Defiance AD Duncan studied the worried captain for a few minutes then looked down at the table. "Maybe we could try a different approach"
-SaW-Rage FA I look over at Duncan "We don't have time to try a different approach who knows how long before the change make it to your time, if there one thing I have learned as captain is we half to take risk and sometimes they don't pay off but when they do it worth it. I don't want the Borg to know the Hellstorm is different until we hit them and its to late. we half to but a stop to this and my worries" need not to change the out come of this. "I need to save my timeline along with this one"
-SaW-Defiance AD Duncan smiled at the determined Captain, "Spoken like a true warrior, Captain Kulge chose well when he accepted you as his friend and comrade." Duncan stood up from the table "Very well Captain we should get this show on the way then. Once your crew has been brought up to speed of the circumstances at hand we can then proceed. The Hellstorm is going through the final phases of upgrades and should be ready to depart in 3 hours" He stopped for a minute and looked at the soon to be heroic captain in the face "Its been a privilege to get to know you Captain Kenneth the man that might just save the past as well as the future I wish you the best of luck" Duncan said as he outstretched his hand to Kenneth

After for what appeared to be nothing more but defeat after the fall of the Federation and the destruction of Earth, A gleam of hope rises from the ashes as a helping hand from 300 years in the future has come to aid in another chance to save mankind from certain destruction that we have already witnessed.
I'm pleased to report that most of ships systems are functioning within normal parameters as for our defensive capabilities it is to my understanding while some of of the information is considered classified I'm somewhat troubled in areas of the very thought of using such technological advances on the Hellstorm other than that it is my opinion that I have in fact no doubt that we will succeed in o
our mission to correct the damages that the Borg have inflicted in our time. As for the crew I have never seen such determination to get the mission underway as if the meaning of taking back our homeland has a new profound sense of reason now.

I look over the schematics of the new weapons and propulsion systems and was amazed of the major difference that it made to Hellstorms combat abilities by the following reports of simulation tests. I put the pad down and look at the captain with look on my face of question "Hyper Impulse Drive, Phased Spatial Transphasic Torpedoes, and Quantum Phase Cannons Sir are we even capable for this type of technological equipment I mean it took a team of Starfleet engineers to find a way to reverse engineer the technology brought back from Voyager not to mention a year of field testing before they even considered start training Starfleet personnel how to use it and the very thought of mass producing it on all Starfleet vessels

Well Commander the good news is they have been using these weapons and technology and they say the ship will be able to handle the impulse. We are only equipped with a few phased spatial transhasic torpedoes and must be used on the cube, but there is high risk due to the fact the torpedo tubes will fail if done incorrectly but if you follow what is on the pad the chances will keep the risk down. This is a big upgrade for a ship of this age, but she can handle it as long as we do it right.

Don't get me wrong I think this is the most excellent time now to strike but we will still be doing damage to the timeline and we cant guarantee that Starfleet wont try to get their hands on the Technology

I'm under orders not to share this technology, We all know that Admaril Janeway has had dealings like this so it is my hope that after I talk to her that she will keep Star Fleets R&D away form the Hellstorm. If this doesn't happen I will destroy the Hellstorm before we do anymore damage to the timeline, but it is my hopes that it doesn't come to this.

"Sir we have cleared drydock setting course to the coordinates of the temporal rift that Duncan has emitted." The helmman reported, "Take us in nice and slow." I replied

The Borg cube moved in as Gamma and Sierra fleet moved to engage. The firepower from both fleets combined did little damage as the cube moved in closer towards Earth, IKV Kronos swooped under two Excelsior class variants and released a barrage of disruptor fire upon the cube as two K'vort class bird of preys covered the Negh'Var with fly by's in an attempt to distract the Borg sensors. The Cube continued its course toward Earth with the fleet hot on its tail like a giant bull being irritated by nats.

"Approximently 1,000 kilometers" the helmsman reported. The cube slowed in speed but continued on. USS Sutherland joined IKV Kronos in its desperate attempt to get the attention of the Cube away from Earth as she released several rounds of quantum torpedoes at the giant vessel in a single spot. This in turn halted the Cube for several seconds which then responded by capturing the Sutherland in its tractor beam followed by a short burst of its cutting beam slicing through the Sutherland's saucer section. Three Akira class cruisers covered the Sutherland by releasing a storm of photon torpedoes and phaser fire. The Borg responded by firing its own phasers cutting through the Akira class ships in half reducing them to debris in seconds.

From a distance the Cube loomed over the rebellious fleet that continued in vain to fight off this incredible menace. An explosion rocked the area as a Galaxy class was suddenly engulfed in flames by a resulting Borg cutting beam as four Defiant class ships flew through the fiery amber unleashing a storm of pulse phasers and quantum torpedoes at the cube.
"This is too damn familiar." I said softly
There was a moment of realization that the weapons had actually penetrated the hull of the cube before a shock wave imitated from the cube which propelled the opposing Defiant ships weapons back at them destroying them instantly.
"Sir, Kevin started, "We have lost about 40% of our fleet. Sierra Fleet is nearly gone."

Suddenly the Hellstorm rocked hard as the cube had switched its attention from the opposing fleet and directed its fire on the Hellstorm. consoles exploded as ship rocks again as the Borg continues to fire at the Hellstorm and surrounding ships covering her. Explosions and sparks fly everywhere on the bridge as the bridge crew are thrown from their stations. Fire starts to erupt on the bridge. I pick myself up from the rocking deck as I shout "Report!!"

Aye sir," Torpedoes away. The Hellstorm launched from what appeared from another ship a purplish hue fireball directly toward the Borg cube. The cube instantly released a shock wave that partially propelled the torpedo back at Hellstorm slaming into her with incrediable force. But left undamaged instead the torpedo bounced off Hellstorm and slammed into USS Sutherland which was badly damaged as she was was destroyed instantly

The Hellstorm moved out of formation and released a barrage of phaser power directly at the cube in close proximity. The cube came to a full stop and grabbed a hold of Hellstorm in its tractor beam. "Mr. Kevin now is the opportune time to fire all phasers in this single spot. Once shields are weakened here fire directly at the tractor emitter once free move us away at 500 kilometers and launch aft torpedoes"

The Hellstorm let out a massive storm of phaser power that slammed into the shields weakening as a stray beam hit the tractor emitter, the Hellstorm started moving away launching aft torpedoes as the ship gained distance.

There was moment of silence as the hull began to sizzle followed by a huge explosion that rocked from the inside. A huge spatial anomaly emitted from the cube as the ship started to rip itself apart from the inside. Kenneth and the crew on board watched as the cube began to look like it was swallowing itself up in whole. Then suddenly the unthinkable happened. a massive shock wave emitted from the cube sending the destructive spatial rift outward toward the fleet as it was being repelled from the cube
IKV Kronos flies over the Hellstorm to cover her from the blast as the spatial shock wave slammed into the mighty Negh'Var . The Kronos rocks with severe intensity as Kugle picks himself up off the deck. "Get those shields back now and keep firing!!!

Hellstorm IKV Kronos and the remaining ships from both Sierra and Gamma fleets which revolved of Ten Norway's and Five Miranda s and Fifteen Excelsior Variants flew in as one in an attack formation towards the Borg cube. All ships began to fire in one huge blast at the Cube. Again the cube took all the opposing fleets weapons and repelled the attacks back at the surviving fleet.
The Cube then targeted the Hellstorm and the rest of the small fleet destroying eight more ships in the process

I quickly YELL "MR KEVIN NEXT TIME THAT CUBE FIRE USE THE NEW SHIELD TO HOLD IT AND SEND IT BACK AT THEM"

"Sir thats what happened the first time when the Sutherland was destroyed the torpedo that the Borg cube bounced back at us in turn bounced off of us and hit the Sutherland. We cant risk another mistake of their weapons hitting the surviving fleet."
I turn to Mr Kevin and yell "Do It Lieutenant!!!"

The cube locked its tractor beam onto the Kronos and right before the bridge crews eyes on the Hellstorm the cube sliced the Kronos in half as it passed by the klingon ship moving towards Hellstorm.

"The Borg are moving in to attack range captain Weapon Shield Inhibitor is online and at full strength." Kevin informed. I study the cube that was coming toward the Hellstorm as it passed over several derelicts Its hull battered and fiery from the intense damage it just suffered form the first wave of the spatial torpedoes the Hellstorm unleashed at it and knew exactly what to do.
"Mr. Kevin lock onto the cubes primary power source once we bounce their weapons back their sheilds will instantly drop from the sudden impact and we will have a clear shot then!"

Incoming torpedoes engaging weapon inhibitor." Kevin shouted, The Borg weapons slammed into the Hellstorm with tremendous force as the cube continued to fire relentlessly. Mr. Kevin's console shrilled as he read the report. "Sir the shield strength is growing the Borg weapons are causing a power buildup almost like a rubber band being stretched before being released. I estimate that in 1 min the shock wave will immit from our defensive grid. so far no damage is being reported."
The cube continued to fire its weapons as the tractor beam grabbed a hold of Hellstorm. Her sheilds started to crackle with raw power as the intensity from the onslaught continued

The Hellstorm started to shake as the power was overloading the ships systems, the Hellstorm system couldn't take much more.

How long Mr. Kevin" I asked as a few consoles started to erupt Kevin worked the controls 20 secs sir' He replied
The cube continued to fire as Hellstorms shields started to glow with a heated intensity that made the whole ship light up like a huge solar star. finally after what seemed like an eternity Hellstorms shields crackled for the last time and then released one massive shock wave that spanned in 1 kilometer radius slamming all the Borg weaponry back at the cube with a defying force. The cubes sheilds dropped instantly as the Borg weapons sliced through the hull ripping the cube like butter

"NOW KEVIN FIRE!!! " I yelled, as I jump out of my chair and looked at Mr. Kevin then back at the veiw screen

The Hellstorm then fired one massive array of phaser fire as well as the entire inventory of spatial torpedoes directly at the cube with incredible speed and force. Kenneth watched as the cube cracked open releasing a spray of green gas as the cube started to rip apart from the spatial rifts that were being released inside the cube.
"Helm get us within transporter range and beam the Hellstorm crew back and move us away before the cube explodes."

The Hellstorm moved with great speed to the cube transproting the crew of the Hellstorm that had been taking form the phoniex and the rocketing away form the cube as it started to explode with a titanic force

The resulting shockwave from the massive cube caught up with Hellstorm slamming into her with incrediable force destroying her hyper impulse drive and her new defensive sheild array" The Hellstorm floated lifelessly as she was surrounded by the fiery debris of the Gamma and Sierra fleets. A few surviving ships from the fleet limped toward Hellstorm location signaling her crew to see if anyone was alive.

"I need a full damage report Commander." as I looked over the bridge that was once again trashed form the battle.

"Our new shield system and impulse drive is destroyed captain and we have exhausted our supply of the spatial transphasic torpedoes" I informed. Kevin picked himself up from the deck as his console beeped "Sir we are being hailed"

The screen switched from an approaching excelsior variant to an also well battered bridge of the ship her captain looking all singed and bloody but otherwise fully alert. USS Hellstorm we monitored you from the explosion of the cube Sorry we werent able to assist you as our propulsion system was knocked out from the Borg weapons fire. Do you require assistance?"

"We will tractor you in once our tractor emitter is operational again which wont take long." the captain replied "And by the way Captain Congratulations on destroying the cube Starfleet will want a full debriefing when you are able."

Hours later with the Hellstorm once again back in repair dock. Kenneth found himself in Admiral Janeways office as he was soon to be debriefed over the whole conflict with the Borg cube.

"Captain Kenneth, Just what the hell happened out there." All we know is that you are the only surviving ship including 23 others that barely able to limp back home with their hulls intact but yet you were still in one piece even after being fully engaged in weapons fire by the cube itself."

"I'm sorry Admiral I can't tell you how we where able to take the Borg on lets just say we had some help form some old friends of your. I really can't say anymore about it."

"Very well I will read over your report but I have a feeling I wont be needing to if its about what I think you are going with this in which case I have to apply that it was just out of sheer luck that your ship was able to stand up to the cube without being severely damaged And Captain..if you want to be still called Captain that is?"

Congratulations! Admiral Kenneth. But dont worry You will still have your command on the Hellstorm for I know you wouldn't want to be cooped up behind a desk all day. By Starfleet Order 28455, you are herby directed to report to USS Hellstorm for duty as Caption. " she said as she stretches her hand out towards Kenneth.

I take Janeway hand and shook it firmly then she reach over and places the Admiral pips on.
"Thank you Ma'am and no a desk is far form where I want to be.

" As for your crew that you were able to save from the cube before it exploded are making a slow but fine recovery thanks to you they should be up and out of sickbay within a week or two. I'm holding a celebration party for you and your crew to congratulate your victory and promotion at 0700 and you better be there." Janeway said with a smile.

"As I last recall I had just been promoted to Admiral I don't think that order applies to me now." I said in joking matter. Janeway on the other hand gave a smile as she realized she deserved that one "See you at the party Admiral." she replied.
A hour later I look out the window of the ready room of the Hellstorm as the worker bees flew overhead Admirl pips in my hand it was hard to believe we made it out alive but we had.
Once again the the crew of the Hellstorm had made it out on top, but there was still a great lost and it would take years for start fleet to rebuild, but they will. In time all will be like it was if not stronger than ever. And with Hellstorm in front lines. No threat can come between Kenneth and his crew.
